TARGET AUDIENCE: This workshop is intended for people actively working (volunteers, leaders, or staff) in the
Muslim community.
WHY: Volunteers are the backbone of our collective Muslim body and when one part of the body is affected, we are
all affected. We must protect their motivation if our community is to prosper.
OBJECTIVE: If you are a volunteer, then you should know that the help you provide others is so important to Allah
the Almighty, even if others don’t see it, Allah is the All-Seeing, All-Knowing. However, such work comes at a cost
sometimes and can be quite overwhelming; especially when others have unreasonable demands on your time and
energy. You will learn how to manage these difficult situations with authentic Islamic evidence to back it all up.
